An essential component to your biosecurity program, the Virkon™ S Broad Spectrum Disinfectant in a 10-pound tub is designed for infection prevention and protection. This PPE-compatible disinfectant cleans and disinfects livestock housing, surfaces, and equipment. It has been proven effective against more than 500 strains of viruses, bacteria, and fungi, including African Swine Fever, Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), Avian Influenza (H1N5), Salmonella, and Campylobacter.

Active Ingredients

  • Potassium Peroxymonosulfate: 21.41%
  • Sodium Chloride: 1.50%

Directions: Mix 1.3 ounces of Virkon S Powder to one gallon of warm water for a 1% solution. Once mixed, the solution stays stable for 7 days and can be applied using sprayers, foggers or mister systems. One gallon of solution will treat approximately 135 square feet.

I have used this product since 1995 at all our cat shows for cleaning of judges table between each cat judged. I have never had a complaint about irritation of hands from product or complaint of passing disease between cats. I use it at home for soaking of litter pan scopes between use and have no problems. I recommend it highly.
