Activator PLUS® Agricultural Manure Inoculant

Easy-to-use, Activator PLUS Agricultural Manure Inoculant treats manure storage systems with a dry powder formula of microbial organisms. It liquefies suspended solids and sludges and creates conditions not suitable for insect larvae growth. Mix Activator Plus with water and apply evenly to heavily crusted areas including deep pit containment and a pull plug/flush systems.

When to Use

To calculate gallon storage capacity, measure and multiply: Length x Width x Depth x 7.5 = Total Gallons

Crusted Manure Systems

DOSAGE: 1 lb. of Activator PLUS per 100 square feet of crusting surface.

Example: 50’ x 200’ = 10,000 sq ft. 10,000 sq ft/2,000 sq ft = 100 lbs of Activator PLUS per treatment (4 bags/pails)

• Break the crust layer (puncture one 10” holes per 500 square feet) before adding Activator PLUS slurry
• Mix 1 lb. of Activator PLUS per 2 gallons of water to create a slurry and pour directly into holes. Disperse product evenly between holes.
• Repeat every 14 days until the crust is liquefied
• After normalization, treat with AgraSpheres or AgraSlats per label directions

Pull Plug/Flush Systems

DOSAGE: 1 pound of ACTIVATOR PLUS per four crates for every 200 square feet of area.

Example: 50’ x 200’ = 10,000 sq ft. 10,000 sq ft/2,000 sq ft = 50 lbs of Activator PLUS per treatment (2 bags/pails)

• After flushing, add 1 inch of water to the pit prior to treating
• Add ACTIVATOR PLUS to the pit as a slurry, mix 1 lb. of Activator PLUS per 1 gallon of water and apply

50% to problem areas and 50% evenly over the rest of the pit.

• Wash excess solution into the pit
• Once normalized/clean, repeat twice yearly as needed to maintain pit performance
• Allow all disinfectants to dry prior to treatment

Deep Pit Containment Systems

For solid buildup/issues use AgraSpheres or AgraSlatss as directed.

*NOTE: All systems may need treatments to return the storage system to normal operational efficiency.
