Designed as an inlet to bring fresh air into your building, this 30" J&D Manufacturing Aluminum Intake Power Shutter with a Motorized Kit and a 10' Cord can also be used for free-air exhaust. All Power Shutters include a shutter motor kit and heavy-duty frame with welded corners for extra strength.

30" X 30" shutter fitted to a remote residential attic gable vent

Shutter was manufactured as expected and delivered most expeditiously. The application perhaps is unusual but the shutter works well in the role. Although the motorized kit and cord was ordered as part of the package, currently it is not being used for this particular application. The shutter has been installed as a remote residential attic gable vent, operated manually via rope and pulleys from the main attic space approximately 80ft away. Open during the summer and closed during the winter.
