Designed to be used with a J&D Manufacturing Exhaust Fan, this Single Panel Aluminum Intake Shutter is constructed with heavy-duty aluminum and strong welded corners.

Features

  • High-efficiency shutter with tie bar to eliminate shutter flapping
  • Nylon bearings and solid shafts for smooth performance
  • Frame comes with pre-drilled mounting holes to save installation time
  • Corners are precision milled & welded for durability
  • Interlocking louvers for maximum weather seal
  • Motorized shutter kits are available to turn any aluminum shutter into a power shutter
  • To maximize efficiency in air movement, shutters should be periodically cleaned of debris
  • Some assembly is required

Worked really well for me

I have now installed 3 of these vents in my metal shop building to increase air flow. They were shipped in good time, arrived in good shape and installed easily. I would definitely recommend them.

I purchased this product to ventilate my generator shed while charging batteries. It was easy to install and is working like I expected it to.

Does the Job

Install these shutters in the doors of equipment enclosure buildings to allow air to enter when the HVAC system is circulating outside air into the building. Simple operation with no need for power supply to open the louvers.

I would be willing to pay more if they were built a little heavier & sealed better.

Works just fine

I grabbed two 16" shutters to work with a single 24" shutter fan. These will not open very far from suction alone but enough to let some air in. I am getting the motor kits to work in conjunction with the fan (Fan on / Shutters open) To get these to open 100%. Other than that, the quality of these shutters is easily worth the 30 bucks I paid.
