Edstrom Piglet Trainer Nipple

This Edstrom Piglet Trainer Nipple is identical to the Edstrom Piglet Nipple QC Part #270252 but has a stainless steel drip adjustment screw training feature.

By turning in the screw, the nipple can be set to drip slowly, which helps teach baby pigs to find the water source in the pen. Use on reduced water pressures of 15 to 20 PSI. Once piglets have located and learned to operate the nipple, turn out the Drip Adjustment Screw to stop the dripping of water and return nipple to normal function.

How It Works: To drink, the pig simply moves the stem by biting on it, releasing water. When the pig releases the end of the stem, the elasticity of the silicone rubber diaphragm located behind the stem head pushes the head back to the closed position, stopping the flow of water.
