I was sorely disappointed in the product. I don't know if it was made of the same material as the original cap, but it did not withstand the Texas heat. Within a couple of days the cap cracked (the tub list it's vacuum and the water ran out) then the cap broke apart.

It was the right cover and it works. Where else can I go with that.
These are great replacement screw on lids for the 3 and 5 gallon poultry waterers. I use them as a water source in my bee yards (apiaries).
The secret to a long life for the lid is to not over tighten or torque it.
They have a competitive price and prompt shipping and come well packaged. This is not the first time I have done business with QC Supply, plus the local farm stores around here who sell the waterers never seem to stock the replacement lids.
I ordered several black plastic covers for the Little Giant Poultry Waterer - they are perfect! Just like the original covers (my old ones were over 7 years old and cracking with age) and they fit on snugly.
