Perhaps not best for coal

This sensor seems to be primarily used for feed systems. I am trying to maintain the level of coal in a hopper by operating a coal auger energized by the sensor, and it works well almost all the time - almost! In those rare instances it does not, the hopper just gradually empties, which is an issue.
