More about DirectAire™ 4108 Recessed Insulated Sidewall Inlet

The curved, aerodynamic louver blade on the DirectAire™ 4108 Recesses Insulated Sidewall Inlet directs fresh air along the ceiling peak for effective air mixing. This also speeds air to the center of even wide poultry houses. It can maintain a 50% greater air velocity from 20 feet from the vent than conventional metal vents.

The DirectAire™ 4108 actuated air vent provides a higher airflow (measured in CFM) compared to standard metal vents, which means you'll need fewer vents overall.

Great for reducing or eliminating bird drafting and saving on heating costs, the DirectAire 4108 European Curved Recessed Vent is fully sealed against air leakage and light. During operation, airflow is directed through the vent's top opening rather than leaking out the bottom or sides of the vent.

Unlike conventional metal wall inlets, DirectAire Sidewall Inlets have a recessed design that effectively pulls warm air from sidewalls 3 feet away and mixes warm air with the fresh incoming air, directing mixed tempered air along the ceiling to the peak of the house. DirectAire Actuated Recessed Sidewall Inlets are available in four different sizes and are rodent and corrosion-resistant.

Good Shape, poor counter weight design for small house

The way the door is meant to be counter weighted is not very well set up for my use in a small brooder. Other doors I have used worked better in a small setting. the shape of the door directs air well and the sealing surfaces seem adequate
