Note: The larger the mesh #, the smaller the particle sizes that are allowed to pass. For example, a 250 mesh filter is a "finer" filter than a 100 mesh filter. The larger the mesh #, the smaller the micron size and the "finer" the filter. A 24 mesh filter would allow the largest particles to pass through, while a 1000 mesh filter would only allow the smallest particles to pass through.
