This V-Notch is made of stainless steel and typically makes a notch that is 3/16 to 1/4 inch deep. Helps uniquely mark piglets to identify litter and number.
Use to notch ears of piglets weighing less than about 25 pounds. For larger pigs, a notcher that makes notches 1/2 inch deep is recommended.
