More about Slat Saver™ - 46 3/4" x 46 3/4"
Made of tough polyethylene, Slat Saver™ is a high-density plastic mat placed under feeders to protect new slats or stop concrete erosion on older slats. Slat Saver™ drains liquids away from the feeder and into the concrete openings.
Advantages:
- Extends concrete slat life
- Eliminates poured pads
- Provides traction for animals
- Workable, can be cut, notched or shaped
Specifications:
- Dimensions: 46 3/4" x 46 3/4"
- Weight: 36 lbs.
- Each Slat Saver™ comes with [4] Slat Locks (#40594A; additional locks sold separately)
This product works great. It keeps the feed and saliva from pigs off the slats. Before I used these, the slats under the feeders were eroding. Since installing the slat savers (over 10 years ago), there has been little to no eroding of the slats under the slat savers.
