This stuff is essential for keeping my syringes in good working condition! I was happy to see that this product is available in a bottle vs. the small packets that come with the syringes.
I purchased this oil to lubricate the seal on a generic syringe with a plastic barrel and rubber seal that is used to pump air. The oil was purchased as a trial of several water based, silicone and PTFE lubricants. This oil provided acceptable lubrication when the plunger was in motion, but within seconds after becoming static, the plunger became stuck in the barrel and required very significant force to move it. It appears that the oil was squeezed from the interface between the seal and barrel immediately. I wouldn't recommend it for syringes with seals that exert significant force on the barrels.
I needed to lubricate my Vaccine gun so next time i need it the gun will be ready
thanks
