The Ship Auger Bits polished flutes have a non-stick coating for fast and smooth chip ejection which means chips won't stick to the bit, even when drilling in material that contains sap or glue. You can use the Ship Auger Bit to confidently drill into clean or nail-embedded wood when installing Romex wire, Pex water lines, rebar, bolts, and rope in piers, playground equipment and landscaping.
