This versatile base may be used with a standard mason jar or the Little Giant® 1-Quart Plastic Screw-On Feeder/Waterer Jar, QC Part #420207, sold separately.

What I expected

I am concerned of how the constant screwing off and on jar will weaken the base on the waterer. Seems weak.

I would say if you have less the 10 chicks to start this product is for you. It's small and useful an a small create !!
