Grade 8 Hex Cap Screws are bolts with hexagonal heads and machine threads for use with a nut or in a tapped hole. These screws are bolts with a washer face under the head.

Features/Specifications

  • Made using grade 8 steel: appropriate for marine and heavy machinery applications (match with grade 8 washers and nuts)
  • Partially threaded shank: allows for a stronger grip between objects and less shear movement
  • Corrosion-resistant finish: yellow dichromate combines lasting durability with strong rust protection
  • High-torque design: hex cap head and machine threads combine to offer higher torque capability
  • Pre-drilling recommended: for installation, drill a hole in the material that matches the diameter of the bolt
