NOT waterproof

Just received this last week so it hasn't been put to use yet. The first problem is the thermostat unit is NOT waterproof. My mistake. I didn't say it was waterproof but I thought any electrical unit for greenhouse use would be waterproof. I'll reserve judgment, if it works well I will improve the review.
