You will need a hammer to put them together, and they will not come with instructions, I have never seen anything this bad, from the cost of the product to the stupid shipping cost, do not buy
Crate works well once assembled. Assembly is a challenge. It required a rubber mallet, standard screwdriver, and yes, a piece of firewood.
The other crates just popped together in minutes. Putting this together was insane. My employees couldn’t have done it. I thought about just throwing it out until anger took over.. Add whatever an hour of your life is worth to the cost of the crate.
I found that they are much easier to assemble with 3 pairs of vise grips. Starting in the center and working your way out. No broken tab's. Much better than the rubber mallet. Used a little Vaseline for the side door. At 68 with arthritis in my hands I was still able to put them together in a little more than an hour. Did 7 of them that way. The first one I did with the rubber mallet that was a first class pain in the ass. Especially the corners.
The corners tabs did not line up and many of the tabs broke during assembly.
