The KUHL 4 gal. Fountain is directly modeled after the KUHL Plastic 3 gal. Fountain, QC Part #422039. This unit is made heavier than the 3 gal. fountain to compensate for the additional weight of the extra gallon of water.

This fountain is also equipped with a center plug in the base allowing you to fill the fountain without removing the entire base. This feature dramatically cuts down on filling time, creating additional efficiency to your daily operations. This 4 gal. fountain is fully compatible with both the KUHL Electrical Heater Base, QC Part #422030 and the KUHL Round Platform Stand, QC Part #422060.

Never buy Again- Waste of Money

This water nearly killed my chicks. I bought 2 sets and none of them seal the way they should. The waterer, when set on level surface, leaked out the water. I thought the chicks were drinking a lot of water, then realized they were dehydrated due to the water leaking out before they could drink it all.
These are so flimsy that when you fill them, you can hardly carry them without losing most of the water. The handle is a joke, and cannot be used.

I bought these with the comparable heater base but would be terrified to use these with a heater. I am sure they would melt since they are made of such thinly constructed plastic.

KUHL P-25 5 Gallon Waterer

This waterer works great, does not leak, only problem is that when you turn it over after filling it up, you lose a lot of water, it would be nice to have a one inch hole in the top instead of the a three inch hole in the base.
