Hog Mate for Gilts and Sows is an essential to determine if a gilt or sow is at a correct stage of estrus for artificial insemination. The spray contains a solution of the same pheromone compound that occurs naturally in the boar and is responsible for the "boar odor". Treats approximately 100 sows. Includes 40 mL.

  • Increase productivity and save money
  • Aids in the identification of estrus in sows and first estrus in gilts without the use of a boar
  • Water-based formula eliminates solvent shock
  • Daily treatment after weaning can reduce the number of days to next estrus
  • No organic solvent, no pressurized aerosol
  • 40 mL will treat approximately 100 sows

Directions: Apply 1-2 sprays directly onto the sow's nose from a distance of 8" - 12".

Great deterrent for male cats (apply to female)

I use this to keep my male cat from really going after my female cat. They're both fixed but he's trying to relive his glory days?? Anyway I dab some on her rump (don't want to scare her with the spray), and he doesn't get as frisky when he chases or they play. So if you are at your wits end over a badly behaved male cat, this stuff is a godsend!

Works good just don't know how how long after you spray it to check the gilt or sow. Just wish there was more information when shipping like for best results or recommendations on how to use it.
