More about East Iowa Plastics Pakster™ Red Rectangular Chick Feed Trays
Pakster chick feed trays have a long service life and are easy to use. They can provide significant savings in both cost and labor for the poultry producer. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), these trays have an outstanding performance record and will far outlast all other feeder trays on the market.
High-density polyethylene is a super-strong plastic, making the tray lightweight, yet rigid. Its properties and durability protect feed from litter moisture and water leaks. It is simple to clean and has a smooth, noncorrosive surface for the easy release of litter. HDPE resists cracking and breaking, even in coldest of weather conditions. Environmental stress tests prove that HDPE resists degradation due to harsh detergents, disinfectant solutions, and poultry waste. Plus, HDPE can be recycled.
Pakster chick feed trays come in a variety of four styles: two rectangular trays and two contour trays. The ribbed bottom and sidewalls of all styles maximize strength and help prevent feed loss from bending and dumping into the litter. The ribbed design also reduces loss from chick scratching. The contour trays are designed to fit snugly around the feed system pan. This reduces the likelihood of chicks becoming wedged between the tray and the feed system, a common cause of chick mortality. A raised control area in the tray center helps cut off feed earlier, at the front of the feed line. Faster feeding reduces flock migration and chick mortality.
Packed and priced per bundle of 100 trays.
