More about Benson Bracket for 1" Hudson Valve
The Benson Bracket is used for easy mounting of the 1" Hudson Valve to tanks and troughs. Bracket only works with the 1" Hudson Valve, QC Part #120016.
Well made product. Stainless and plastic are long lasting materials to use for outdoor water applications. Two suggestions for improvement. 1) Use two screws spaced about 2" either side of the inlet pipe to improve stability. 2) Use a stainless alloy that will not gall after two uses or tell the customer to be sure to use a lubricant like water pump grease or teflon tape on the screw threads. A looser class of fit between the screw and nut might help also.
