A great option for new construction and replacement flooring, this ADA Enterprises Original Dura Trac Farrowing Expanded Metal Flooring is designed for traction. This flooring is completely coated with plastisol leaving no exposed metal. The coating ensures the floors will not feel colder than room temperature. The Original Farrowing floors can handle the weight of the sow and accommodate the feet of her piglets.

Proper support for Original Farrow Floors is to have the supports run laterally across the short way of the openings in the floor. The minimum requirement for spacing supports for farrowing floors is 8 inches apart under the sow and 16 inches apart in creep areas.
