found out I didn,t need it after I received it but not worth postage to return it

Necessary

The housing holds up very well with the critters. I just need the rebuild kit once a year, usually in winter after a good freeze. This next time when I know a bad freeze is expected I am going to take it off and just water manually for a few days. It is very simple to remove and the rebuild kit is very easy to install.

It works!

Great service.
Use this product to keep the level of water in my waterfall constant.
Have to use this rebuild every few years as the tiny rubber ring seems to wear out.

Makes valve like new

The rebuild kit make the valve function as if new. The hard plastic outer body and top are the only parts not replaced. Simple to install and totally worthwhile.
