About Halogen Heating — Halogen infrared heating will change the way you warm livestock. Tests in laboratory conditions have proven halogen infrared bulbs have long lifetimes. The bulbs are able to withstand strong water projections and are very shock resistant. Halogen infrared heating stimulates high blood circulation in the animal, warming them quickly. It also covers a larger area than traditional heating systems; optimal temperature is achieved faster.

The luminous intensity and heating abilities remain consistent over the life of the bulb. Because this heating system is compact and light, the production costs, maintenance, labor and equipment costs are highly reduced. Ideal for a variety of livestock including piglets, poultry, rabbits, lambs and goats.

1st bulb Wouldn't work

First bulbI got out of box didn't want to light up was basically burnt out before even getting to use

OK product

I bought 5 lamp bulbs. Installed one it broke the first day. Installed a second and it has lasted 2 days. I'll see how long it will burn. They are better quality than the last I bought elsewhere, where none worked and some were broken on arrival.

Nice bulb but doesn't put off the heat needed from a 250 Watt bulb

Bright and Hot.

I bought 4 replacement bulbs for my halogen heat lamps (from QC).
The bulbs replaced were a year old, and I was surprised how bright and hot these new bulbs are. This was a very inexpensive upgrade.
