Note — The larger the mesh #, the smaller the particle sizes that are allowed to pass. For example, a 250 mesh filter is a "finer" filter than a 100 mesh filter. The larger the mesh #, the smaller the micron size and the "finer" the filter. A 24 mesh filter would allow the largest particles to pass through, while a 1000 mesh filter would only allow the smallest particles to pass through.

Wanted to have extra filter
We have had this filter in our domestic water supply line from our groundwater well for a couple of years, with 60-mesh size, and it has worked well. Every few months we remove the filter insert to scrub it and clean with clorox bleach. I wanted an extra filter to make this process quicker, and be able to immediately insert a clean dry filter.
Perfect size filter. Works great for irrigation. Good company to buy from, will be saving it.
