Well Constructed, but CAUTION!

I use 10 of these motors. All placed in service in about the past six-eight months. I just replaced a frozen unit. Another is emitting a buzz, so I suspect that it is may not be long for this world. Externally, they appear to be well built. But internally is a question, and the case cannot be opened to inspect and try to analyze the reason for freeze-up. The kit is complete. They are easy to install.
However, I will be researching alternatives because I am worried about failure rate.

No warranty. Several froze up within a year.

They work well up front. sealed case, so cannot be opened to fix. i have had many over the years. they don't last that long if you have moisture and big temperature swings. haven't found a good alternative!

Failed

Stop moving after 6 months.

Not happy

Bought this shutter motor. Used it about 2 months and now in the coldest of weather it has quit. Started vibrating like gears are stripped. Poor quality to do this so quickly. Got what I paid for I guess
