Reduce installation and maintenance costs for your Modine Hot Dawg HDS Heater with this Horizontal Concentric Vent Kit for HDS60-HDS125 heaters. The kit utilizes single wall penetration through exterior walls for both the fresh air intake and exhaust. This handy kit meets the needs of your heater with less structural alterations to your garage, shop or warehouse. For models HDS60 - HDS125 only.

For use with Modine Hot Dawg HDS Heaters, HDS60, HDS75, HDS100 and HDS125, QC Part #20840. NOT suitable for HD models.

Includes

  • Concentric Vent Kit Adapter Box
  • Vent Termination Cap
  • Inlet Air Guard

Also Available: Modine Vertical Concentric Vent Kit - HDS60 - HDS125, QC Part #20842.

Please Note: This kit ONLY works with the 60,000, 75,000, 100,000 and 125,000 BTU HDS heaters. For 30,000 and 45,000 BTU HDS heaters, you need QC Part #20845.

Good product

The product works incredibly well but should come with the type B vent pipe. It was very difficult to find in my area.

Lacking parts and design...

While I was very satisfied with the construction of the box, I was expecting a few more parts that would have made the fresh air intake sleeve better in my opinion and easier to install. I ended up McGyvering a screen cap around the air intake guard. All in all it works well now but I feel I had to do A LOT of work especially for the price that this kit is at.

Need a better install manual

Couldn't get the correct part delivered, after 3 attempts got what was delivered.
Installation was easy figuring out what was needed wasn't.
Not sure it meet UL1738?

Great Product at a Great Price

Makes for a nice exterior presentation on the back of the garage. Just a 4" dia B-Vent extended 14" out from the building with a small triangular end cap. (like a dryer vent cap)
QC Supply had the lowest price of all internet suppliers.
