Specially designed for livestock, this 3/8” Stone Manufacturing Ear Punch may be used alone for ear identification or to punch holes for ear tags. Made of lightweight aluminum, the punch includes a case-hardened steel punch.

Pleased

The ear punch is exactly what I was looking for. It sometimes sticks due to debree in the punch cylinder or the shaft itself, be prepared with a screwdriver or thin poke to disengage.

Pretty good

This is a nice solid tool with excellent cutting edges and materials. My only criticism, a minor one, is that the punch is not quite long enough to expel the cut core from the die, requiring pushing something into the die to remove the cut core.
