Chickens, turkeys, and other poultry will enjoy a cool drink of fresh water all year long with the Little Giant Galvanized Double Wall Poultry Fountain. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel, this galvanized waterer features rolled edges for safety and arched inner handles for added strength. The fountain has brass valves and rubber seals to produce a positive water shut-off and a locking pin to hold the outer tube in place.

To prevent the water from freezing in the winter months, we recommend the Little Giant® Electric Heater Base, QC Part #420218, sold separately.

This waterer works well and is well made. The chickens love it!

Suggestion

A little tricky to lock in place and transport. No real catch to lock.
Also, I would suggest a hanger like the wire hanger on the feeder because when the waterer gets knocked or moved in the least, it is off level, and the water leaks out. A simple notch at the center of the wire hanger would prevent this. As it is, I can’t hang it without losing the water and having a shopping wet mess on the coop floor.

I purchased a 5-gallon waterer that was only used 7 months out of the year for 3 years. The bottom water tray has developed pin holes all through it!

Love this waterer. It doesn't start filling the tray until the top is in place, which has always been a problem with this type of waterer. I would not hesitate to order another one when I need one.
