I have two dogs who like to run in the woods. They tear up vests pretty regularly. I bought three of these vests from QC Supply (by the way, good seller and super communications) and they seem to be holding up very well. The vest is of good quality. It is highly visible. The price is about right. I would recommend them.
Best safety vest ever!
I love this high quality vest. I just bought one at our local feed store and used it a handful of times and it's already falling apart. This is my 2nd vest from Ultra Paws and I have to say the old one is several years old and has faded out but it was still in great shape! Excellent product.
Have used these vests for several years for my own dog to wear in woods during hunting season and on evening walks. Bought one for my daughter's dog as she walks in the evening too. Easy to put on and off and washes well. I bought a large for a Lab and it fit perfectly. Reasonably priced too.
I use these jackets year around for my two German shepherds when we walk in the woods. I let them go off-leash then, and I can spot them (as can hunters in the fall) from far away. I've tried other brands, and they don't stay on the dogs if they're running hard, day after day, in the woods--these do. I can't recommend them highly enough.
i have two dogs and use these vest four times a week. Love them a lot. Very well made, easy to pop on when we are going for our run through field and forest. Just ordered another one for our third dog. Highly recommend these vests and this company where i bought them from.
I bought three of these for my Springer Spaniels. I chose large sizes for the greater coverage, and they fit well. The length of the straps allow for more than enough adjustment. The dogs associate putting on the vests with taking hikes, so they sit quietly while I put them on. They stay in place while they run but do not restrict their movements. These vests are high quality, especially considering the price. I would highly recommend them.
Dog vests for visibility
Bought these for our two large dogs for when we take them running. Fit well, perfect with the reflective strips. Great for night time running and also when it's a little wet or cloudy out. Would definitely recommend them.
The search is over
I purchased this vest for my Golden Retriever to replace his worn out old vest. My Golden hunts a variety of birds including pheasants, grouse and turkeys. I had searched many web sites trying to find a vest that would not make him to hot, rub him raw, turn on his body, had no velcro, was an easy on and off and would last even in tough hunting situations. I decided to try this vest and am very satisfied so far. We have hunted four days so far using this vest and it fits him well ,does not turn on his body, and is holding up to all kinds of hunting situations.
Does what it's supposed to do
I bought this for a smallish Boxer-Husky mix to keep her safe during her jaunts in the woods near our property during hunting season. The material sheds water and is stiff enough that it doesn't bunch up or ride up her back. It makes her very visible. Putting it on and taking it off couldn't be easier. We leave the strap around the neck buckled but buckle and unbuckle the strap around her middle. We just put the neck loop on over her head when it's time to go out or lift it off her head when she comes in. It does shift a tiny bit to one side of her or the other as she runs, but not much; it doesn't affect her ability to move or the vest's visibility.
Bought two of these for our two labradors - they work great! They are highly visible at night (which is why we bought them) and shed water too during those rainy walks.
