About the Active Ingredient — Bromadiolone is a potent anticoagulant rodenticide. It is a second-generation 4-hydroxycoumarin derivative and vitamin K antagonist, often called a "super-warfarin" for its added potency and tendency to accumulate in the liver of the poisoned organism. When first introduced to the UK market in 1980, it was effective against the populations that had become resistant to the first generation anticoagulants. The product may be used both indoors and outdoors for rats and mice. The lack of vitamin K in the circulatory system reduces blood clotting and will cause death in large dosages due to internal hemorrhaging. When compared to other anticoagulant rodenticides, Bromadiolone has a good level of activity against the brown rat, and moderate levels of activity against mice.

    Good Product

Review by on Dec 9, 2016

The mice absolutely love it, best product we've ever used for rodent acceptance, but I question it's efficacy. The feeding never slows down, and we don't see many dead mice, but plenty of live ones. (Yes we do rotate baits, but Hawk is the only one they will consume in any quantity).

I use Motomco Hawk in my homemade bait stations and noticed that just after a few days I had dead mice and voles in the barnyard. This is a great rodenticide and i would highly recomend trying it.

Review by on Sep 7, 2015

I live in Central Oregon. Tomny Cat that quit working. I was seeing poop in my barn & pump house. I thought I would look on the computer to see if I could find something else. And I did. Hawks.

Review by on Aug 11, 2015

I'm in the high desert country of Central Oregon. In my rural location, we hav a huge problem with Pack Rats. This product is the only one I've found that is effective against these pests.

    Rats Apparently Love This Bait

Review by on Jul 5, 2015

I placed 3 bait stations around the house and the rats completely cleaned out 2 of the stations. For some reason the 3rd station was untouched. Perhaps I placed it where the rats don't meander. I am going to relocate it. Good bait. The rats ate the stuff, hopefully ending up dead somewhere. I recommend the bait.

    Excellent product

Review by on Oct 10, 2014

This is the real deal. I had a HUGE rodent problem. I live on 39 acres of high desert in AZ. First 3-4 nights, they consumed 10-12 of the bait bars. Gradually the amount consumed decreased so that at the end of 3 weeks, there is no sign of them! I will leave the bait boxes in place with bait in them in case some immigrants show up. But this stuff really worked. I found dead rodents lying around!!

    Cost effective..

Review by on Jan 3, 2013

We distributed the blocs in various spots where we saw mouse droppings. It is too early to rate the effectiveness of the product. However, finding your company on the internet saved us at least $650 which was quoted to us when we had someone come to the house to determine what we were dealing with. On the basis of that alone I would have to give you a five star rating.

    Great Product

Review by on Oct 24, 2012

Great Product, easy to install on the headless nails I have on the fence. Rats or what ever have a banquet each night. In the morning I have to replace the bait, so far no dead rodents found maybe they are departing elsewhere.

Seems like the mice eat this up, as do chipmunks and squirrels in my gardens.
