High quality, comfortable, but wish they came a bit larger...like 2x. Maybe they will stretch with use. They are tight to get on, but once on, they are fine.
Axeman leather mitts
Excellent quality leather choppers with finger holes inside. Work great in the winter---durable and keeps you hands dry and warm
Love these for outside winter work and snowmobiling. Second pair , got them early as they always sell out in season.
nice quality, liners I ordered were unnecessary as the gloves were not only lined but had finger spaces sewn into the lining.
For warmth better than regular gloves.
As I expected and from other reviews the dexterity is limited with the mittens. The mittens are a little warmer than the gloves I was wearing to do my daily two mile walk. My thumbs tend to get cold in the mittens, but my fingers stay warmer. I think the mittens would be better if there was a cuff at the top to seal around the wrists.
Warm but oversize
I purchased these mittens based on a pair of the exact same mittens (brand/style/size) that my son had purchased locally. When my order arrived I was very disappointed that the product was not the same. Even though the inner glove lining was a good fit and the same as my son's; when I matched up the cuff of his mitten to mine, the outside shell of my mitten was almost an inch longer at the finger tips.
I realize that you don't wear mittens expecting to have the dexterity to pick up a dime; but the excess shell material is very awkward.
Nonetheless, these mittens keep my hands very warm and comfortable, which is the reason I purchased them in the first place.
These are our "snowblower" and shoveling mitts.THE BEST Thermal mitts we have ever owned. Get them-do not doubt the technolgy-they will save you in the coldest weather....where we live -25 F and strong winds is a pretty typical winter day. If you plan on using your cell phone, or shooting your gun you will need a different mitt, or you could quickly remove them. At -25F where we live-we don't use the cell phone during chores....we climb back in the truck for "office work" or calling the house.
Went to shovel snow and couldn't find my chopper mittens. Checked the internet and found your store. The description of the mittens was exactly what I wanted. They are better than described, and your store, and the order and shipping process made the whole experience a "happy" one. And the price was right for a high end product. Thanks
WELL WORTH IT <<
I WAS SUPPRISED TO FIND FINGERS IN THE MITTENS ALSO BUT THEY WERE AWESOME BEHIND THE SNOW BLOWER THE OTHER DAY.
I WAS OUT THERE FOR OVER AN HOUR AND MY HANDS > NEVER <
EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT BEING COLD.. %100 BETTER THAN THINSULATE GLOVES. I USED TO BE A RAILROADER SO I KNOW ABOUT MITTENS AS THAT WAS ALL WE USED TO SWITCH CARS.
I was surprised to find fingers on the inside of the mittens. I thought, and have experienced in years passed, that the warmth of mittens was the fact that your fingers were together. Not sure, haven't tried the Kinco mittens as of yet, that they will be as warm. I was a little disappointed.
