I bought this on recommendation of a friend who uses it for a hydroponic setup. I use it to fertilize a quarter-acre vegetable and flower garden via 5 drip irrigation and 1 overhead spray circuits. I mix the water soluble fertilizer in a 32 gallon polyethylene garbage can and drop the pickup tube into the bottom. The unit makes a very loud clicking sound when operating. That's no problem for me because I water at night, and the garden is 200 feet from the house. In a subdivision setting, a neighbor would rightly complain. There does not seem to be any chemical buildup on the drip irrigation emitters, and there is no easier way to get fertilizer on the plants.
