Our vet has us use Tylan (along with Viokase) for our Labrador Retriever who has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. Our vet, who is exceptional, HIGHLY recommends this product and Sammy's system is all the better for it.

This is given in small amounts, twice a day with my dog's food. She has suffered no side effects and thinks it's part of some treat since I sprinkle it on her food. Been using it for over 7yrs.
