We have a pole barn for show animals and were needing to block the sun from the animals but maintain air flow/breeze. The black woven shade material allowed us to succeed in our endeaver by doing just that. Our swines are protected from the sun yet are able to stay cool with the breeze and keeps the rain out from the shavings. Easy to install with drill, washers, and screws. Very durable not allowing barbwire to cut through the material as well. The length of the material we installed required at least two people.
