You'll never buy a heater like Pelonis
I have had a pelonis dics heater for at least 20 years. It finally died. I need to replace it quickly.
Great value and great item.
I purchased this unit in the eighty's and it just lost the heat mode. I took it apart and found where it had burned the heating lead to the ceramic discs in two. I'll try to fix it myself, but if I can't I'll certainly but the same unit again.
A MUST BUY
This is an exact replacement for one I have owned for over 10 years. No other small ceramic space heater on the market compares to a Pelonis.
I have a pelonis. I love it and its over 20 years 0ld.
not the same heater from years ago, mine lasted 2 hours before it burned up
Is 35 years good enough for you?
I bought five of the "brown box" models when they first came to market in the late 1970"s. I still use all five in my home. That's 35 years, more or less! The thermostats were a problem back then, but the company repaired them for over 25 years, whenever they needed it, and for a very nominal fee. They still throw plenty of heat, but now, and like me after 35 years of service, their thermostats don't work as well as they used to and its time to buy five new units. I wouldn't buy anything else, and they did change the thermostats years ago. My doctor says I should change my thermostat as well.
The Box Heater Was Giving Me In 1995 Still Running Like New This Heater Have Five Stars
Very economical to operate
I have owned my Pelonis Safe T Furnace for over 20 years. It works exactly the same today as it did 20 years ago. and I paid about the same price for it, I don't know how they can still sell it for the same price. I only looked this up today just to see if they still made this unit and was surprised that it still was available. The only difference is the new one has a power indicator light. I would highly recommend this unit if you want quality heater that will last for more than 20 years. It is very economical because of the automatic variable power consumption. The wattage drops as the room warms up. DON'T WAIT! DO IT NOW!!
