I purchased this heater for my familyroom . My regular heater is real loud we had to turn the volume up an down on the tv when it ran . IT WAS A PAIN . the cold air return always let cold air in because it was on a outside wall ( bad design ) . anyway I am few happy so far with this heater . The weather has not got bad yet . but so far it heats the room up 10 degrees in 30 mins . I also use my ceiling fan because I have a vaulted ceiling . so far love it .

Great additional source for heating Review by Mitzi

The heater is a great additional source of heat, especially when your electric goes out as mine did this past winter. No gas smell and it makes the electric bill cheaper. Product arrived in excellent condition. It replaced an old vent-less unit that had quit working. Would recommend to any one.

supplement heat Review by glen

I use this heater as supplement heat for my uninsulated single car attached garage. The garage has only one small heat/cool register and i've been using an electric space heater out there for years. Without any supplement heat, when it's 20 degrees outside, the garage will be about 57. With an electric space heater the garage will run about 62 degrees (and cost about $2.50 p/day). With the new gas heater, i can keep it as warm as I like . . no problem. The unit has a temp control of between 1 and 5. Through the day when we're gone to work, I keep it on 1 1/2 and when I get home about 2 hours before dark, I turn it up to 2 - 2 1/2. This keeps the garage a comfortable 70 degrees. I seldom run the fan, although I have a ceiling fan bringint the warm air down. These settings work well from -10 degrees to +30 degrees. I can't see ever needing to turn the unit up beyond 3 1/2.

Wonderful Heater Review by Rolltide Girl

I purchased this for backup heat if my power went out but find it useful to just warm my livingroom at night so I can keep the bedrooms cooler. For instant heat it is great. I have used it as my primary heat in the entire home with the fan and additonal ceiling fans it was efficient and warm. The QC sales people were so helpful in providing me with the booklet (online) to view the sources of this product and the warranty information. It was a very positive purchase. QC employees made this buying experience one the the best. I live in Alabama and they shipped it from Nebraska. Wow, I hunted the internet and local hardware stores for a unit that had replaceable parts, this was the only one I found that was NOT a throw away if something went out on it.
