Happy Happy Happy
Bought these for our little pigs to be used at weaning. Creates a very comfortable sleeping area ! For my situation it's great !
So far, a so happy
I haven't gotten the chickens yet (just a few) but I hooked out the little radiant heater in the coop and it seems to work very well. I used an adjustable 'high pressure' regulator/hose that is for use with turkey fryers. This heater should operate on .5 to 4.5 psi and the regulator for the turkey fryer/burner adjusts from 0 to 10 psi, so I just turned it up to the point where the glow of the heater element seemed to be operating normally, probably a little on the lower operating range. Because they can be adjusted way down, I might have opted for the slightly larger M-5 unit if I had given it a little more thought. Only a few bucks more.
