Neil Diamond wanted to be forever in blue jeans. You will too after trying on this great pair of FIVE ROCK® Carpenter Jeans. They’re perfect to wear on the job or on the town. Just bought another pair, now have purchased 3 pair and still wearing the first 2 pair. I was skeptical at first because of the economical price but these jeans hold up better than about any jean I have worn and I wear these when working outdoors. Have washed the original pair many, many times.
I really like these carpenter pants. For the $ they are a good buy. I love the big side pocket that I can put my iPhone6 in. However I wish it were an inch deeper so it completely covered my phone.
My only real complaint is that the inside of the front pockets, going outwards, use the heavy denim material for about an inch. This makes the pocket so thick that I can't clip my small knife on the pocket. It also makes the pocket, after laundering, not lay flat.
I solved both problems using my sewing machine and top stitching about 7/8 of an inch below the pocket opening. And by making a small pocket I added on the side between the front pocket & back pocket, for my knife. I am only writing this review in hopes that the company that manufactures these jeans will read it & make these changes at the factory. I have been buying Dickies carpenter jeans since 2006, but had to find a different brand of jeans since their new jeans side pocket would not hold my iPhone 6.
I bought some Carhartt carpenter pants because they have a big side pocket that accommodated my phone, however the Carhartt jeans are twice the price of the Five Rock and they don't come in denim. For the Monet the Five Rock jeans ROCK!
My husband goes through his carpenter jeans like they’re going out of style. Just haven’t been happy with the quality or brands of the jeans purchased. When I received the email from QC I decided to give them a chance to make my husband happy. FINALLY a jean that holds up to the constant movement, bending, kneeling and wear-and-tear of construction work. The price is right and the service was excellent. Will be ordering these again.
Can't beat em for the price
Quality seems to be on par with any other jeans. Price is real nice and the fit was good on these jeans.
Tough and economical
I am a handyman doing odd jobs all the time and these Five Rock carpenter jeans fit my needs perfect. I purchased a pair of Five Rock carpenter jeans based on the dollar value. After I wore these jeans just two times I have learned that this is a very economical jean that fits better and feels more comfortable than any of the higher dollar work jeans that I have worn in the past. Extra belt loops and two side pockets make the Five Rock's my favorite pair of jeans and the ones I always grab first. The heavier 14 oz denim isn't stiff from new to after several washings so I think these should outlast all of my other leading brands of jeans.
Great jean at a great price
I go through a lot of jeans in the oil fields. I purchased your five rock carpenter jean and was very impressed. They are the best pair ever and at a great price. Other workwear including some name brands just don't hold up.
I give them a 10 out of 10
I just tested out these new five rock jeans. Since I do a lot of construction and outdoor work I'm always wearing jeans. These are very comfortable from climbing up and down ladders to putting fence in the pasture. They have plenty of pockets that hold items like my wire strippers and wrenches, and also have a loop for your hammer when you don't want to hold it. I would recommend these jeans over the top of any work pants I have owned, I give them a 10 out of 10.
