Made in USA??? Review by Harold

I purchased one of these feeders last winter, and while I was disappointed to see that the box said "made in China" the feeder was generally well made and easy to assemble.
When I ordered two more feeders recently I was excited to see that the boxes said "Made in rural America". I thought it meant better quality, but I was wrong. The front panels of both feeders were kinked from packing and had to be straightened before assembly. This wasn't UPS's fault as the boxes were undamaged. In addition the bolt holes were much more difficult to align than the Chinese version and the edges of the trough lid where they would come in contact with the hogs' noses were razor sharp, meaning I had to buff them on my wire grinder wheel before assembly. The boxes read "Hawkeye Metal Products" which I assume is a subcontractor for Brower. Please let the folks at Hawkeye in Iowa know that they need to step up or risk losing those jobs to China again :-/

Great product, assembly directions bad Review by Go

I bought this product for 2 butcher pigs. It is a very solid well made feeder. It was sent in a very timely fashion. Due to the weight shipping was expensive(but i knew this ahead of time) and the assembly directions were challenging because they were vague in some key sections. Got it put together after a little struggle but quality wise I would buy it again.

I had seen a similar feeder at Tractor Supply and it wasn't built very sturdy. I seen reviews of this one and ordered and its so much better! Glad I looked at reviews and made this order!

Very satisfied with this feeder. Heavy Duty Was a little surprised that it didn't come assembled, but it was really no big deal. Had it together in no time. Shipping was fast, too!
