They include aluminum blades and an enclosed ball-bearing motor with automatic overload protection. Their guard has a powder-coat finish and zinc coating to prevent corrosion. These variable-speed fans include a cord. May be ordered without the cord, please note your cord preference in the customer comments section of your order. Comes apart easily for cleaning and maintenance. Arrives assembled with an unattached bracket.

Q: If I paint this Durafan, will it void the manufacturer's warranty?
A: Any modification made to the fan will void the warranty.
Q: Can you hardwire this fan to an exterior control switch on the horse stall? Or is it only able to operate by pull chain?
A: This fan is a single-speed fan that has the ability to be controlled variable speed with the proper variable speed control.
Q: Can you tilt the fans down? I have three of the 24" fans.
A: Yes these fans can be tilted up or down but not side to side.
