This Adjustable Thermostat for Petersen Waterers is adjusted by turning the set screw counter-clockwise turns the heater up. The thermostat comes from the factory set at 40. Will keep the entire bowl ice-free, although it will use more electricity when set higher than the factory setting.

The thermostat works great. The price was lower than others I looked at.

Works could be better

Seems to work ok, but wires are shorter than original thermostat wires had troubles plugging into outlet that is underneath water trough
