Load cell assemblies are rugged enough to withstand the harsh environment conditions on the farm. Two models of load cells are available, standard 5,000 lb and high capacity 10,000 lb. Load Cells are mounted to the concrete using existing anchor bolts of bin legs. The compact design of the load cells only increase the height of the bin by approximately 3 inches. Bins with 4 legs would require a load cell at every leg and bins with 6 legs would require, at a minimum, 3 load cells and 3 spacer assemblies.

For monitoring feed consumption, placing a load cell under every leg will provide maximum accuracy. Feed link digital display can be mounted on the bin leg or inside a building up to 100 feet from the bin. Eliminate the dangerous task of climbing bins to check feed levels. Feed levels can be properly managed to help prevent emergency calls for feed or animals going without feed. Feed link network collector allows you to monitor bin levels from a remote location through the use of a phone line. Feed inventory status reports can be directly faxed from the network collector at scheduled intervals. Low-level reports are automatically sent when any bin on the network falls below a pre-set level.
