Introducing the Environmentally friendly COMPOST-A-MAT Disposable Farrowing Mat

Compost-A-Mat Advantages:

The Compost-A-Mat is made from at least 50% corn stalks that are heated to over 375° providing a pig pathogen free mat for your piglets to lie on.

Guide for using Compost-A-Mat
Mat Placement

Place the mat under the supplemental heat source (away from water source).
Mats may move, gruel feeder can be placed on end of mat to help keep mat in place.
If heat source is over pen divider, place mat or mats (depending on pen size) under pen divider
Monitor temperature on mat surface, try to keep temperature at 95° F.

Mat Feeding

Sprinkle a small amount of feed on the mat 4 to 5 times per day for the first couple of days.

Matt Disposal:

These mat are designed to last 2-3 weeks
Pick up leftover pieces, do not discard in pit!

When ordering a pallet enter quantity in multiples of 220.
