I ordered three of these shockers, one was delivered with virtually no battery charge, the other two were fine. Unfortunate now, as I will need to go thru the aggravation of returning one.
sale and delivery very good. assembled unit when I got it. already had correct cattle prod batteries in it! grounded out against metal to see length of arc-good charge and buzzes from handle as it should so you know it is working
It was junk broke in a week
Works great for me! I have goats that like to crowd me and a 300 lb buck that wants to show me that he's the boss. I just hold the rod firmly out in front of me and say, "Back up." It really only takes the goats once or twice to learn what that means after they touch the prongs. I don't poke them with it, just let them walk into it and touch it themselves.
Seems to work, batteries evidently weak because it doesn't buzz showing it is ready. Have ordered new batteries.
