Very handy to have.
We have had a Kalf Hook for many years, but it was time for a new one. The design has been improved and it is heavier made. A must to have in the truck when checking on calves. Makes it easy to grab the little buggers and get them doctored without disturbing the herd too much.
Very good product
This product is great when you have to vaccinate a calf that is a day of age to a month of age. Once the calves get over 200 lbs, they just get too strong to handle and need to be put in the pen. I'm not fond of the longer mode though but the short mode works great ! !
Very good product
Been using them for years. Just don't latch onto a calf that weighs more than you do!! Great Product.
This is a great tool for catching calves to tag. I had one previously but it got caught and bent like a horseshoe. I was able to bend it back but could not collapse it. Ordered a replacement the same day. Can't do without one now!!!
I ordered the kalf katch from QC because it was cheaper than other websites I visited. I received the kalf katch quickly and was pleased with it. I do wish there would be a little more grip on the handle, and that the aluminum would be slightly heavier, but for smaller calves it worked just fine. It is not a good idea to try to catch calves heavier than the person on the other end of the staff.
Calf Catch with sheep hook
Nice crook, way to reach out and touch someone when you need to snag a lamb out of the mob. Works OK in both extended and short mode. I like it.
Had one several years back. The calf catch does a good job with sheep and even lambs if you use it quick.
Works better than I thought it would!
I had been hearing about the Kalf Katch for years. I finally purchased one in August. I used it for the first time about 3 days later. It worked great.
