This marker is great for personalizing ear tags, and it's very readable. It works very well for our small flock. I like to number the tags and put the ewe's name on it as well. It comes with two different tips, a fine and a thick. The only drawback is that you can't change them easily without getting ink all over. (I would like to mark the number with the thick tip, and the ewe name with the fine tip). I've tried permanent marker in the past and it faded and was unreadable in a few months, this is much better!
