This is a great product I have 2 of them now I use in my Greenhouses. Have not had any problems with them.
DM11F-Diaphram has 1 year life
I have 3 Broiler houses and run medicators almost continually. The Diaphram on all three wore small holes in it after 11 months. The products were warrantied and I got 3 new ones. The company Claims the Diaphrams never wear out and act totally amazed that I have a problem with them. I have found that this diaphram problem is common to most users and last about a year. (No warranty after 1 year) I understand that if the same thing happens to the replacement medicators, I have no warranty now. Hard to find replacement parts for the Diaphram since the company claims they never wear out. Otherwise, the pump works perfectly.
DM11f-one year lifespan
I have 3 in my broiler chicken houses. They run almost constant from day 1 at 1GPH to day 56 at 4-5GPM. They work great for about 10 months then the Diaphram motor wears out. It gets small wear holes in it that lets water bypass and 1 to 60 GPH doesn't work. Problem is the company claims the diaphram motor never wear out and if you look you will see it is not even listed in their parts book that comes with it or anywhere else I have looked so far. I have no idea what it cost to replace or how to get it. The Injector is Great in all other areas. Very little wear elsewhere.
Great product - would buy again
I've had this dosatron up and running for about six months now. It was easy to install and works without a second thought - I don't really have to think about it. The unit is made of durable, well engineered components. I wholly endorse this product! The only negative thing I can think to reflect on is that it makes a grinding, clicking noise when in use, but this is normal and part of the way it's engineered. This is a "set it and forget it" product, except for yearly inspection and maintenance as needed. I use it for chemical salt solutions, (not feed or medication), in an aquaria application.
