- Description
- This Aluminum Intake Power Shutter is a high efficiency shutter with tie bars to eliminate shutter flapping with are free-air exhaust. This shutter has nylon bearings, solid shafts and drawn cup-type sleeves on all movable linkages. The heavy aluminum frame comes with 1/2" channel lock water stop and the corners are precision milled and welded for durability. The shutter has interlocking blades for a maximum weather seal. 115/230 Vlt Shutter Motor Kit comes complete with chain, S-Hooks, screws and springs. Some assembly is required.

Easy enough instructions, the wiring diagram is a little on the light side regarding set up, once figured out correctly the motorized shutter works like a charm. Installation was a snap & it works like it was designed for! Awesome product for an AWESOME price! If you are looking for a motorized shutter, durafan is a brand to keep in mind...

There's not a lot to these things, so I was suprised to find how expensive they can get. Then I came accross this one @ QC and it seemed to fit my needs for a great price (lowest for this brand / model by far). It is relatively thin and chincy metal, but that's all I need, so I'm fine with it. Install and electrical connections were pretty self explanatory, and it works as it should. It's a relatively simple mechanism, so I don't anticipate any problems. Just have to wait and see on the durability.

Installation of the shutter was a snap, bracket & motor placement instructions are sparse but adequate. Once the electrical was completed it works as intended. Great product for the price. QC supply was the BEST priced seller anywhere by far for this & the 20" exhaust fan!
