Good product, good price
Installed Eventherm in cold-weather doghouse located in a town at 10,500 feet elevation, average daytime winter temperatures ~12 F. Very challenging environment. Eventherm is highly responsive, and performed well. Factory calibration appears to be about 8 degrees "off" but that's not important in this application. What is important is that when the Eventherm is set at 82 F it accurately and consistently maintains floor temp at 63 F. So I recommend Eventherm. And I have no complaints about QC Supply.
Fast shipping item is just as described
Great product at a good price.
I've used a couple more expensive units and this one seems to work as good or possibly better. Easier to hook up and can be adjusted which is a plus.
works great easy to install
Works great for the $$$
$$$$ cost effective solution
I'll buy again
Good units will get more
review Hugh? ok.... this is a very nice unit, far superior than the MasterCraft that one finds in home depot or such places, for less money. So that in itself is a great big start. The installation is easy but a bit tricky, at some point you need to open this unit. Please do that as the first thing preferably on a bench of sorts. With a sharp chisel remove some of the plastic barrel where the screw fits into, other wise you will not be able to seat a lock nut for your connector. if possible make all the connections out side of the box, other than wire nuts. It should be 3 x (by) 3 meaning the connecting wire should be twisted together with 3" removed from the outer shielding with a 3" single wire lead. There is not much room in the box. Hook the single wire onto the screw and DO NOT just slide it behind the washer. The white wire is a constant on the left and the black is on the right OR center. Other wise pretty straight forward, I have 5 units connected to 5, 1/2 Hp blowers and it just works like Jim Dandy. Oh before opening be sure to tape down the plastic retainer for the coil it can be easily lost if you don't. Other wise it is a very nice unit keeps my attic well ventilated today it was 120 degrees in there. Also use a fresh #2 phillips driver for the screws, otherwise it is a bit tricky Metric drive is a bit bigger than our #2.
Easy to setup and worked as advertised.
I've had a couple of these for several years. I have never used them outside but I use them to control fans and temperature in a small room indoors and they've worked flawlessly.
